Welcome to my little shop corner! I've decided, after quite a while of being on LJ, I needed to create a new journal specifically for selling, swapping, and buying. Here you'll find cosmetics (new and gently tested), bath & beauty products, jewelry, music, books, clothes, and all sorts of fun goodies!
As time goes on, I'll add on more, probably every few weeks or so. I've got a lot of things that I had bought recently, and realized that I'll never use, so they just sit here looking pretty. They need new homes, where they'll be appreciated! Plus, money is tight here, so any little bit helps. :o)
I am in the process of adding prices to many items, but these are not set in stone. These are just to give you an idea of what I'm looking to get for them but everything NEEDS to go, so don't be afraid to make me a reasonable offer, if you don't like a certain price that's listed!
Check out my wishlist of items that I'm interested in swapping for. I can always be tempted by money, DVDs, books, & candles/fragrance oils/tarts, as well as some clothes and cosmetics! :o)
I'll be updating my varied lists of items from time to time, so keep watch! Have fun looking around, and let me know if anything interests you!

As per the swapping/selling of "gently tested" cosmetics, I should clarify a few things. Anything that is not brand new, but has been gently tested, has been sanitized according to makeup artistry regulations.
- Lipsticks, lip glosses, and lip balms are dipped in alcohol and sliced to make a new point, even if they have been tested with a clean lip brush.
- Pot balms/glosses have been tested with a clean lipbrush.
- Wand glosses are tested with a separate clean wand, which is not double-dipped, though I rarely would sell a tested wand gloss.
- Anything with a powder surface (eyeshadow, powder, blush, etc.) will be wiped gently with a cloth or tissue --- let it be known that bacteria cannot grow on powder surfaces, so applying alcohol is unnecessary (and actually damaging to the cosmetic). In addition, because bacteria cannot grow on powder surfaces, they can last almost indefinitely, depending on the item.
- I will *not* sell/swap used mascara - that is completely unsanitary under all conditions.

PAYMENT METHODS:
- I accept the following payment methods, and I prefer Paypal:
- Paypal (I can now accept both credit-card and non-credit-card funds, but various prices will have an added service fee because of Paypal's own service fees. If you plan to use Paypal, let me know, and I'll give you the address to pay to. It's not the same email I use for this journal.)
- Money Orders
- Checks (items must wait until check clears)
- Well-concealed cash (At Your Own Risk! I won't be responsible if you choose this method. And please *Conceal* it well! The holidays are a major time for money to be stolen in the mail. Decorating the envelope with stickers, doodles, etc., and wrapping the cash in several sheets of paper better conceals it.)
- Please send payment within 2 weeks. I understand delays, but please keep me updated if you are delayed for longer periods.
SHIPPING:
- Shipping preferably within the USA, but International (*including Canada*) is welcome, * with additional shipping costs, of course. (My husband makes the major post office trips randomly, so we prefer to keep those at a minimum. I send most US packages right from home.) ***Please, please, please, if you're from Canada or anywhere else International, make a note of it when you inquire about an item. I've had a few people comment, and then I find out later that they're International, and have to calculate extra shipping.
PRICING:
- I am in the process of adding prices to many items, but these are not set in stone. The prices that are listed as "Retails for" are reference points, so that you know it's a higher-end item.
FREEBIES:
- Items either:(a) listed in the "Freebies & Extras Post" or (b) featuring "**" on the left-hand side, will be available as an extra with purchase, NOT solely as a freebie.
- If you buy something, you can choose an extra or two. By the way, please feel free to ask for something if you really want it. Occasionally I'll even give something of a greater value away, if I know it's something that you really want/need, and it's going to a good home. I've given away Lancome glosses as freebies, so...yeah. ;o)
TRADES/SWAPS:
- I like to swap/trade occasionally. Feel free to look at my Wishlist, and let me know what you have to offer! ***Note: I will be more selective with trades, because of more upcoming money constraints. Between medical bills and house & car payments, I don't have much "fun money" to fork out right now.
DEADBEATS - REGARDING PENDING ITEMS AND SERIOUS BUYERS:
- If you simply ask about size or whatnot, it's not considered pending. To me, that's just a simple question.
- I won't pend something unless you tell me you're definitely interested.
- If you no longer have interest in an item, please let me know, so that I can unpend the item for others.
- If an item is marked "pending," feel free to ask about it, still. The worst you can hear is that it's already sold. I may have forgotten to mark it "unpended."
- I surely don't mind curious comments and questions, but please just let me know either way.
